The Captain's Top Table
Every week our school cook, Mrs. Johnson, chooses 10 children to sit on the Captain's Top Table on Friday. Mrs. Johnson looks out for children in the dinner hall who are helpful, kind and have beautiful manners at the dinner table. She chooses one lucky boy or girl from each class in the school and announces it in Friday's assembly. The children get to sit on a very special table with real plates, flowers and a fancy table cloth. They are treated like V.I.Ps and have a lovely dinner.
