Welcome to Wrens!

Our new topic is:   I am who I am

Hello and welcome to those children who are new to Wrens, and hello again to those who were with us last year!

Our first topic, 'Knowing me, Knowing You' helps us to find out all about each other and our families.

We plan topics that link to the children's interests, please let your child's teacher know of any interests they display at home so that we can incorporate them in to our planning.

Here are some helpful hints to do at home to help your child during their school day:

• Practise writing your name
• Using cutlery independently
• Dressing independently
• Counting in the home e.g. when walking down the stairs and setting the table
• Looking at letters and number in the environment
