The School Day

At Crossgates Primary School, we start each day with a calm, welcoming routine. We practise 'Zones of Regulation' upon entry to school so that all children have the opportunity to settle and feel ready to learn. The gates open at 8.45, giving children time to enter school and regulate prior to learning starting promptly at 8.55. Any children who are not in school prior to 9.00 must sign in via the school office.

We encourage all pupils to arrive on time so they can fully participate in morning activities and learning. If you need to discuss punctuality or any early arrangements, please contact Miss Duke via the school office. Thank you for your support in helping your child start the day ready to learn.

Please note that the school day finishes at 3.15, this means that children are in school for 32.5 hours per week.
